Photos of Model T Repairs

You can see pictures of repairs from the beginning
Okay, a picture is worth a 1000 words, then here is a Epic. I want to Thank Many Who Gave Me All Of Their Weekends To Show Me How and What To Do to get this car ready for the drive from L.A. to Detroit. I could not have put these parts together on my own. I Am Lucky To Have Been A Member Of A Motor T Club who's members are 100% into Saving and Putting Back On The Road These Wonderful Little Cars. Again, I would not know how to tell you how to go about repairing a Model T to this level and I am very lucky to have seen and been part of putting this car back into one piece. One Man Above all gave his tools, shop, knowledge, and the time to walk me step by step into doing the job right the first time and not to rush or as I heard a few times, "Getting ahead of myself". If a part that you order does not fit, (and this is the case many times, and again I hear the words, "these parts are kit's"), and you must fit and adjust each item as you go along.

You will find pictures of my repairs up to this point. You can pick the type of repair by sections here. The "Before" and "Frame" or "Motor" just scroll down till you see what you are interested in. Once you click on the photo you will be taken to a slide show that should cycle about every 7 seconds or so. Sit back and relax till you see the photo that you came in on, then when you done, click on the browsers "Back" button to come here again. Hope you enjoy them.

I want to Thank You Dave for your understanding and you hard work.

Slide Show of Before Pictures
Click on photo to be taken to the slide show. Pictures will change about every 7 seconds. These are photos of the car before they got cleaned up, or fixed. You will get a sense of how this car needed a little love.

Slide Show of Parts - These are subsections that got cleaned up
Here is a slide show of parts like starter, flywheel, crank, babbit, etc....

Slide Show of Ruckstell being added
This car only had High and Low gear. With the drive across country coming up I knew I was going to need a little more, so here is the Upgrade to the read end...

Slide Show of Seat covers going on, and soon the top
You will see that the seats needed replacing and the top as well. Here are a few shots of the seats getting replaced. I will be ordering the top soon.

Slide Show of the Frame and the parts going onto it.
The frame was stripped down and painted, here you will see some of the parts being placed onto the frame. In that this is still going on, you will only see what has been done up to now.

Slide Show of the Motor. This is sooo nice.
You will see the heart of this repair in these few photos. I can not say enough about how much care went into putting this together. We did start it a few times and it runs smooth. I had to play around a little to find the right muffler for it. It should be ready to roll in a month or so, I have saved one more slide show section below for the finial photos.

The Finished Car
When It gets to this point I will post the photos
